Build a Boundless Future

The College of Engineering & Science consistently ranks among the best undergraduate engineering and science programs in the nation. Engineering at Detroit Mercy offers the third-oldest cooperative education program in the country while our science programs prepare students for advanced graduate degrees in biology, chemistry, medicine, dentistry, pharmacology and veterinary science.

At graduation, nearly all of our students are either already employed or are going on to graduate school. Detroit Mercy grads also have excellent admission rates into professional schools. So, no matter what your path is in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM), a Detroit Mercy degree is your ticket to a successful future!

Detroit Mercy Experience

Our facilities and laboratories offer the environment you need for an excellent education.

The Center for Automotive Systems Engineering Education is designed to foster student teamwork on collaborative projects including competitive vehicle design, robotics and autonomous vehicle development.

The iNSPIRE Lab Learning Center serves as a nexus for creative activity, mentoring and undergraduate scientific research.

In addition, Detroit Mercy is a leader in ReBUILDetroit, a $21.2 million grant program of the National Institutes of Health, which helps students from underrepresented or economically disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue careers in biomedical research.

Future Students
