Scholarship Opportunities

There are many scholarships available to current Detroit Mercy students. Below is a partial listing of both internal and external scholarships generally available for engineering and science students.

U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are from under-represented populations or female or demonstrate financial need with a high GPA of at least 3.0 |
Science & Engineering Equity Development (SEED) |
U.S. citizens or permanent residents who demonstrate financial need (Pell grant eligible) and have a strong high school academic record |
Be a senior in high school; have participated on a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team or a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team, be admitted to Detroit Mercy’s Engineering program as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor of Robotics and Mechatronic Systems Engineering; have a minimum ACT of 23 or a combined SAT score of at least 1000 and a GPA of at least a 3.0. | |
