Mechatronics Teacher Bootcamp

Want to learn how to incorporate microelectrics and robotics activities into your lessons? This professional development opportunity will explore ways to: 

  • Apply mechanisms, electronics, sensors, actuators and software to build intelligent mechatronic systems
  • Integrate physical computing lessons using microelectronics into existing computer science curricula
  • Implement culturally responsive engineering lessons and practices relevant to students' interests, communities and heritages
  • Network with other educators to share best practices and enhance engineering opportunities at your school

This will be a week of hands-on, active lessons using Arduino and other accessible mechatronic technologies. Minimal background needed!
