What?

The College of Engineering & Science Career Mentorship Program is designed to connect students with experienced professionals. Through one-on-one mentoring, students receive personalized guidance, practical advice, and insights into industry trends and career opportunities. This program offers a structured yet flexible way to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional experience, helping students develop the skills and networks necessary for success both during their academic journey and after graduation.

Who?

This program is open to undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Engineering & Science who are interested in pursuing careers in industry, government or academia. Our mentors are professionals dedicated to supporting the next generation of engineers and scientists aiming to make a positive difference in the world.

Why?

Navigating the transition from classroom to career can be daunting. The Career Mentorship Program offers students a knowledgeable companion for their career development by providing real-world insights, networking opportunities and professional advice. By participating, students can build confidence, clarify their career paths, gain perspective and establish connections that may lead to future opportunities. The program also offers the chance to develop meaningful relationships that contribute to the long-term success of both mentees and mentors.
