Outreach
Giving back to our local communities is one of the goals of Fly-CURE. Young kids tend to be fascinated by the world around them, and we want to continue to nurture this curiosity as they move through their education and future careers in STEM fields.
Fly-CURE faculty are involved in a various outreach activities ranging from pre-K to high school students. We have developed outreach modules for the following activities:
- Fly Life-Cycle
- Wild-type vs Mutant
- Climbing behavior activity
- Cold shock behavior activity
- Fly eye’s view
