At University of Detroit Mercy, we know your interests may go beyond your main field of study. Whether or not you’re in the College of Engineering & Science, you can add a minor in another subject — and it will appear on your university transcript.

Minors in the College of Engineering & Science:
Attend courses in statistics, math, business and economics to gain skills valued in finance and risk analysis.
Learn to think critically, logically and creatively. This minor focuses on using math to solve real-world scientific, technological and social problems.
Explore how biology and computer science come together to study genes, proteins and data that drive modern medical research.
Discover how engineering, biology and medicine work together to create devices and systems that improve human health and function.
Add computing knowledge to any major. You’ll learn how to think like a programmer and apply coding and data skills in your chosen field.
