Scholarship Opportunities
There are many scholarships available to current Detroit Mercy students. Below is a partial listing of both internal and external scholarships generally available for engineering and science students.

Science & Engineering Equity Development (SEED) |
U.S. citizens or permanent residents who demonstrate financial need (Pell grant eligible) and have a strong high school academic record |
Be a senior in high school; have participated on a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team or a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team, be admitted to Detroit Mercy as a full-time student majoring in any Engineering program or Computer Science; have a minimum ACT of 23 or a combined SAT score of at least 1000 and a GPA of at least a 3.0. | |
Clare Boothe Luce Scholarship | Student of junior standing as of the coming Fall term enrolling (or enrolled) in computer science or an engineering discipline at Detroit mercy; college-level GPA of 3.0 or higher. Priority will be given to transfer students. |

The VICEROY Cybersecurity Award Program at University of Detroit Mercy supports transfer and graduate students who have interest in working for the U.S. Government or Department of Defense pursuing engineering and computer science programs. |
