UDM & OCC: A New Partnership in Engineering Education

udm_occ OCC to UDM
= an easy transition

Continue to be in small classes
and receive personal
attention from faculty members.

Students begin by taking pre-engineering classes at OCC, then transfer to UDM to complete a Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering in approximately 2 1/2 years. This includes three co-op rotations in which students obtain a year of experience and earn an average of close to $30,000.

To make the transition from OCC to UDM easier, UDM is offering three classes at the OCC-Auburn Hills campus with a special tuition rate.

What Engineering seniors say about their co-op experience:
  • Obtain hands-on experience in real world applications
  • Apply the things learned in school
  • Increase communication skills with upper management
  • Increase technical abilities
  • Experience several areas of engineering to find what you like
  • Earn money
The Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degrees are fully accredited by ABET, the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.

Get a Job…even in tough economic times!

While we cannot predict the future, in 2007 and 2008, 100% of UDM Engineering graduates had job offers in their field or had been accepted to graduate school within 5 months of graduation!
