The project team was given a parcel of land that needed to be developed into residences. The student team was to come up with the layout for residences, and design the engineering systems. Among the systems were:
- The ground grading so water would flow away from the homes, and not puddle on lots or streets
- A storm water collection system
- A pond to store the water
- A sanitary waste water collection system to take the household waste to the main line
- Water supply system and
- Traffic and Street design.
