Scholarships

US News & World Reports rates UDM highly in it's ability to get scholarships to students.  In addition to the scholarships below, our Cooperative Education Program has shown success in getting money into students hands.

Freshmen Scholarships:

Many scholarships are automatic.  If you apply to UDM you will be notified which scholarships you qualify for.  Go to this link to calculate an estimate for how much you would get. 

Transfer Student Scholarships:

Transfer students may also calculate an estimate for how much they would get.  However, some colleges might have arrangements for additional savings.  Ask about this.

Engineering & Science Scholarships:

In addition to the University scholarships, the college awards several scholarships to Engineering and Science students.  Some are specifically for CE students.  See a list. 

Civil & Environmental Engineering Scholarships:

The Civil Engineering program has a scholarships that it awards to current students.  You have to be a registered student to be considered for these.  Here is more detail about some of the scholarships that the CE faculty award.

• Fuller Memorial Scholarship.  Up to $2000 / year.  Awarded to current sophomores or transfer students who are equivalently sophomores.  Awarded to students interested in any area related to construction.
• Kevin Olmstead Scholarship.  Up to $1000.  Awarded to a student interested in environmental engineering.
