A college education at Detroit Mercy is an investment that pays rich rewards — for a lifetime.

Detroit Mercy's Office of Financial Aid specializes in creating affordable education.  A counselor can guide you through the application process until it is complete, then offer you the best package available.

In the College of Engineering & Science, there are many internal and external scholarships available plus with the three mandatory engineering co-op rotations, you'll gain hands-on, real-world working experience while earning an income.

All scholarship requests are handled throught the office of Financial Aid.  For more information, please see Financing Your Education or contact a Financial Aid Counselor.

Co-operative Services

Cooperative education (co-op) is more than an internship — it's a real, professional job that aligns with your career goals and objectives and offers you a chance to apply your classroom learning to real-world situations.

All engineering students, except those in the Software Engineering program, are required to participate in co-op.
