Deans of Catholic Universities author op-ed in U.S. News & World Report

ngineering deans of 22 Catholic University author an op-ed article following Pope Francis' encyclical on climate change appearing in U.S. News & World Report, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math today.

Dr. Gary Kuleck, Dean of the College of Engineering & Science“Pope Francis’s encyclical challenge to heed climate change and its impact on future generations resonates with the Catholic, Jesuit, and Mercy traditions of UDM, and the mission of the College," says Dr. Gary Kuleck, Dean of the College of Engineering & Science.  "This is most appropriate since we are in the earliest a new Sustainability Initiative in the College which places concern for the environment at the forefront of undergraduate and graduate engineering and science education and will prepare our students to be responsible stewards of the Earth as professionals and citizens."
