Australian American Partnership Program
A Letter from the College of Engineering and Science, Director of International Programs
Dear Future UDM, College of Engineering and Science Student:
Would you like to join an elite group of technological leaders prepared to lead the global industry in the field of engineering?
Then consider joining UDM's College of Engineering & Science International Programs, where you study and co-op in both the U.S. and Australia. UDM Engineering students are required to complete three semesters of co-op prior to their graduation. Involvement in the International Programs provides the student an opportunity to study for one semester and co-op for one semester in Australian. All academic instruction is provided in Curtin University of Technology.
The experience of studying and having the cooperative work experience in industry provides the student with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the customs, business practices and culture of the U.S. and Australia. These attributes are important when competing in a global market.
Some of the corporate partners that support UDM's International Programs include Ford Motor Company, DOW Chemical, General Motors, Daimler-Chrysler and Visteon. They encourage and support UDM's mission to educate technological leaders that know how to operate in a global market.
I urge you to 'join the UDM International Programs Team' and complete an engineering degree with International Programs experience, providing you with the credentials for competing in a global market. Contact me to find out more about this exciting opportunity!
Sincerely,
Roxann T. Alonzo
