STEPS Summer Camp

STEPS (Science Technology Engineering Preview Summer camp for girls) is a one-week residential summer program girls currently in the 9th to 11th grades. STEPS was developed by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) in 1997 to encourage young women to consider engineering and manufacturing as a career. UDM camp’s main sponsors include the SME Education Foundation, Ford Motor Company, Chrysler and Automation Alley.
