FIRST Robotics

Since 1997, the UDM College of Engineering and Science has been a strong supporter of the FIRST organization and has participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition for high school students.

For our first two years, we mentored the robotics team from the University of Detroit Jesuit High School. We then spent seven years supporting the Berkley High School team. In 2006, we returned to U of D Jesuit.

The College primarily supports its FRC team with the use of our machine shop, a machinist, enough space to accommodate a full-sized field, and the support of engineering faculty.
