Student projects still in need of support

February 19, 2018

Earlier this month, the College of Engineering & Science launched four student initiatives seeking financial support from friends and alumni.

The student projects enhance the educational experience at Detroit Mercy with extra-curricular activities where students can compete or share their research knowledge.

The four projects are:

Student SAE Vehicle Project

The SAE Vehicle Project allows students to design and build fuel efficient, lightweight vehicles for competition.

John A. McLean, Jr. Lecture Series

The John A. McLean, Jr. Lecture Series provides scholarly lectures on engineering, science and math to the Detroit Mercy community.

Concrete Canoe

Students and faculty from Civil, Architectural, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering are raising dollars for the annual Concrete Canoe Competition.

Bio-Research Student Travel Fund

The Bio-Research Student Travel Fund allows undergraduate Biology students to present their research projects at conferences and symposiums.

Your financial support of these projects will help these groups reach their goals.
