Alumnus heads product development as global vice-president

Paul SpadaforaPaul Spadafora, ’91 mechanical engineering and ’94 master’s in mechanical engineering joined Magna Exteriors as global vice-president, product development on October 30, 2017.

In his new position, Spadafora is responsible on a global basis for the leadership of the Product Line Directors and will drive all activities centered around the development of new and improved products in support of business growth objectives for the enterprise. In close collaboration with customers and all internal departments including innovation, sales, marketing, design, engineering and operations, he will ensure new products and processes are developed, validated and launched in an effective manner.

Paul brings with him more than 25 years of global and regional leadership and management experience with General Motors in engineering, program engineering, purchasing, supplier integration and operations.

Paul serves as a member of the Board of Advisors at University of Detroit Mercy.
