Dr. Shadi BanitaanDr. Shadi Banita’an, director of Computer Science and associate professor of Mathematics, Computer Science and Software Engineering, in collaboration with Dr. Cuauthémoc Lopez-Martin from University of Guadalajara co-authored on a paper entitled, “Support Vector Regression for Predicting the Enhancement Duration of Software Projects,” which will be presented at the 16th IEEE International Conference on Machine Learning and Applications.

Dr. Cuauthemoc Lopez-MartinLopez-Martin was the featured speaker at this year’s first Research Colloquium earlier this month.  His talk, “Prediction Models in Software Engineering,” focused on research about software prediction modeling and how computational models can be applied to data sets to predict effort and duration of software projects.
