Detroit Mercy welcomes Class of 2021 at Accepted Students Day
More than 500 Titans of the Class of 2021, family and friends met with professors and current students at Accepted Students Day this past weekend.
Detroit Mercy’s newest Titans got a taste of what their program and campus is like by talking to deans, faculty, staff and students across the McNichols Campus.
The Engineering Highbay showcased all of the engineering departments with demonstrations of robotics, mechatronics, computer and electronic engineering projects. The Civil engineering department featured its 2017 concrete canoe which will be used in competition next month.
The science departments hosted a forum for those interested in biology, chemistry and biochemistry highlighting their current research.
Tours of the College’s newest facilities, the Center of Automotive Systems Engineering Education and the iNSPIRE Laboratory, highlight the College’s commitment to engaging students in authentic research in their freshman year.
