Chemistry Club participates in the Battle of the Chemistry Clubs
The Detroit Mercy Chemistry Club team competed in Michigan’s 10th annual Battle of the Chemistry Clubs in East Lansing last weekend.
University of Detroit Mercy is a cofounder of the annual event which now draws more than 80 student members of the American Chemical Society (ACS) from 12 Michigan schools to enjoy a day of friendly competition and fun with chemistry.
Events include periodic table darts, a spectroscopy interpretation challenge, dry ice curling, and jeopardy-style questions with buzzers.
The Detroit Mercy team finished 4th in a field of 11 this year.
