December 01, 2016

More than 30 rubber ducks were chucked at the “Chuck-a-Duck” competition in support of prostate cancer in the Engineering High Bay today.

Kal Barawi, president of the Biology Club, organized the annual event.

“Students, faculty and staff from across campus were invited to purchase a duck for $2 or 3 ducks for $5 and toss it from the second floor in the Engineering Building High Bay,” said Barawi.  “The ducks closest to the target win Amazon gift cards.”

Proceeds of today’s event support prostate cancer research.

This year’s winners are:  Stephanie Fudalla and Selena Cholak.  Both Fudalla and Cholak are in the College of Engineering & Science.
