Career Fair: Employers register now

September 03, 2015

The College of Engineering and Science is hosting its annual Fall Career Fair on September 22, 2015.  There is still time for employers to register.

The Engineering Career Fair provides an opportunity for employers to see first-hand the projects and environment students learn and work in.

Wendy Nix, Coordinator of Cooperative Education and Career Services, is excited to follow up on last year’s successful event.  “Our College has a very bright group of aspiring engineers that attract companies both locally and nationally and they are not all automotive, we have a diverse pool of employer partners,” says Nix.  “This year we are not only expecting automotive engineering companies like FCA, Delphi and Magna but are also very excited to welcome new companies like Quicken Loans, Flex-N-Gate and Plastipak.”

The Career Fair allows employers to learn about the College’s Cooperative Education Program and gives students the opportunity to network and discover an array of employment options.

“Our curriculum provides students real-world engineering skills during their freshmen year,” says Dean Gary Kuleck.  “Our laboratories and facilities mirror what students will see in their co-ops and future employment.”

The Career Fair takes place in the Engineering High Bay on the McNichols campus from 12:45 to 3 pm, September 22, 2015.  To register, please complete the registration form.
