Faces in the College of Engineering & Science: Dr. Jacob Kagey

August 31, 2015

Dr. Jacob Kagey, assistant biology professor, is passionate about cancer research and helping others.

Kagey credits becoming a researcher rather than a medical doctor because of his fear of blood and needles.

Kagey offers research opportunities to undergraduate students in his labs.  In some cases, undergraduates present their research findings at national conferences.  In others, students are authors on peer reviewed scientific articles.

In speaking about what he likes the best at the College of Engineering & Science is, you, the student.  The small class size allows professors to get to know their students.  “It is gratifying to see students achieve their goals,” says Kagey.

Introducing, Dr. Jacob Kagey
