July 17, 2015

The two-week TRANSIT program provides students currently in the 9th –11th grades the opportunity to learn about the world of transportation engineering.

Students engage in hands-on activities, working in teams and using LEGO NXT technology while learning about transportation.

Instructors are UDM professors, high school technology teachers and industry leaders representing organizations such as Mineta Transportation Institute, Road Commission for Oakland County, the Detroit People Mover and Detroit Transportation Corporation.

Envision a better world and create it.
